Afternoon:Â Depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic drive that descends the dramatic cliffs of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at your lodge, perched on the escarpment edge, and settle in as the sun begins to set.

Morning: After an early breakfast, embark on a game drive in the stunning Lake Manyara National Park. This diverse park is a place of lush groundwater forest, open plains, and the alkaline lake itself. Keep your eyes peeled for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions resting in the acacia branches, large elephant herds, and troops of baboons and blue monkeys. The lake shore is often painted pink with thousands of flamingos.

Afternoon: Return to your lodge for lunch and a moment to relax. Afterwards, we journey upwards, leaving the Rift Valley behind as we climb into the highlands. We enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and continue to our lodge nestled on the very rim of the crater.

Evening:Â Savor dinner with a breathtaking view. On a clear night, the vastness of the caldera is an awe-inspiring sight, setting the stage for tomorrow's exploration.

Full Day: Today is dedicated to one of the most incredible wildlife experiences on Earth. After an early start, we descend the steep crater walls onto the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. This natural amphitheater, often called the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World,’ is teeming with wildlife.

Explore the Lerai Forest, home to elephants and shy bushbuck.

Visit Lake Magadi, a shimmering soda lake often dotted with vibrant flamingos.

Traverse the open savannah where lions, hyenas, and cheetahs hunt, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra roam.
This is your best chance to see the Big Five in a single day, including the highly endangered black rhino.
