Showcasing the flamingos and rhinos of Lake Nakuru and a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley, this road and lodge safari also offers two day’s game-viewing in the world- famous Masai Mara National Reserve.

Meals:Â Lunch & Dinner

6:30 AM - 7:00 AM:Â Pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. You'll meet your professional safari driver/guide and depart after a short briefing.

7:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Scenic drive to the Maasai Mara. You'll journey through the Great Rift Valley, with a stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint for breathtaking photos. Continue through Maasai land, with the landscape slowly transforming into the iconic African savannah.

1:00 PM:Â Arrive at your lodge or tented camp on the outskirts or within the Maasai Mara reserve. Enjoy a welcome drink and check-in.

1:30 PM:Â Lunch at the lodge. Relax and soak in the atmosphere.

3:30 PM: Embark on your first afternoon game drive. Your guide will head towards areas known for migration activity. Even if you don't see a crossing immediately, you'll likely spot vast herds of wildebeest and zebra gathering on the plains. This is also a great time to see predators like lions and cheetahs.

6:30 PM:Â Return to the lodge as the sun sets. Enjoy some downtime before a delicious dinner.

Evening:Â Relax by the campfire, share stories, and listen to the sounds of the African night.

6:00 AM:Â Early wake-up call with tea/coffee.

6:30 AM: Full-day game drive with packed lunches. This is the most crucial day for tracking the migration. You will spend the entire day exploring the reserve, focusing on the key river crossing points on the Mara River.

The River Crossing: Your guide will be in communication with other drivers to locate where the wildebeest are gathering and attempting to cross. Witnessing a crossing is a matter of patience and luck – thousands of animals plunging into the crocodile-infested river is a truly unforgettable, raw spectacle of nature.

Picnic Lunch:Â Enjoy your packed lunch at a designated scenic spot within the park, never missing a moment of the action.

Continued Exploration:Â The afternoon is for more game viewing. Besides the migration, you'll search for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and other wildlife like hippos, giraffes, and hyenas.

5:00 PM:Â Start heading back to your lodge, enjoying a final game drive on the return journey.

Evening:Â Dinner and overnight at your lodge. You'll be tired but filled with incredible memories.

6:30 AM:Â Early morning game drive after breakfast. This is an excellent time for photography as the light is soft and predators are often active. It's your last chance to catch a final glimpse of the migration herds or any animals you may have missed.

8:30 AM:Â Return to the lodge for a full breakfast and check-out.

9:30 AM:Â Begin your journey back to Nairobi. You'll have one last look at the vast Mara plains.

En-route Stop:Â Stop for lunch (own expense) at a convenient town like Narok.

Approx. 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM:Â Arrive in Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
