Safari Itinerary
On arrival in Nairobi, you are met, assisted and transferred to the hotel. Once you are settled in you may select an optional activity or simply relax at the hotel in preparation for the adventure that begins tomorrow. Some of the possible activities include:
Bomas of Kenya, National Archives, Tour of Downtown Nairobi, National Museum, or Langata Giraffe Center.
Meal(s) Included: Breakfast.
We will collect you from your Hotel in Nairobi Fly to The Masai Mara National reserve drive on the floor of the great rift valley arriving in Masai Mara in good time for lunch. Experience your first Safari game drive late afternoon [typically 3.30pm] during which you explore the surrounding parts of the Mara and see its amazing wildlife.
Trip Summary: There is morning and afternoon game drive every day.

Main Destination: Masai Mara National Reserve
The reserve, gazetted in 1961, is located west of the Rift Valley and is a natural extension of the Serengeti plains, in Tanzania. The Mara River, the reserve's backbone, traverses north to south heading for its westbound way unto Lake Victoria, through the Tanzanian park. This course is the natural barrier crossed every year by the large migratory herds of wildebeests and zebras which march across the two parks
Have 2 Gamedrives – Morning and afternoon . If lucky you might witness the Migration of wilderbeest.
Sand river / Mara Serena (Game Package )

Full day in Masai Mara. Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. Most animals are active at this time of the day and you therefore are likely to see plenty of game. Return to the camp for a relaxed breakfast.
Have optional Balloon Safari .Â
You may schedule a visit to a nearby Maasai Village with the Camp Manager – this, typically one hour visit provides a fascinating insight into the day to day life of the famous Kenyan tribe, the nomadic Maasai. You also get to see their unique mud dwellings – the Manyatta huts.
Return to the camp for lunch.
Enjoy an afternoon safari into the reserve. Return to the camp by evening [ typically 6 to 6.30pm] in time for a relaxed evening, followed by dinner.
Overnight stay at Cottars 1920s Camp/ Mara Explorer Camp – Masai Mara or any of similar.

On this day you bid farewell to Masai Mara with morning game drive, after a relaxed breakfast and check out you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your 10.30 am flight back to Nairobi.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, we’ll have our driver-guide waiting for you at Wilson Airport for onward transfer to your hotel or to the International airport.
In case you wish to explore some of Nairobi’s attractions, then do let us know in advance and we can add these into the schedule before dropping you off at the airport for your return international flight.
